Cutting length tile cutter XXL: 301cm

Total length: 325 cm

Who does not know the problem, a new construction site and again a new, larger tile format, a challenge for every professional.

The solution is called tile cutter Sigma Kera-Cut, the universal system for processing XXL tiles up to more than 3 m in length and a material thickness of 8 mm, sometimes even more (depending on the material).

Karl Dahm offers you the ingenious tile cutter Sigma cutting system in 4 lengths: 1.51 m/ 2.01 m/ 3.01 m and 3.71 m.

These are one-piece rails that cannot be joined together. Kera-Cut Tile Cutter Sigma is available as a complete system, i.e. a guide rail made of aluminum and the accessory set, which includes the cutting carriage, the suction attachments, the swivel parts for table attachment and a crusher.

(Art.:12389 with 2,01 m)

Single rails for the Sigma tile cutter (without accessory set) are available in the length 1.61 m (Art.:12222). These are particularly useful for cross-cuts when a longer, complete cutting system is already available.

The Sigma Tile Cutter cutting carriage, including the carbide cutting wheel, can simply be placed on the rail and is pressed under tension against the rail running surfaces by 3 stainless steel guide bearings. This backlash-free guidance is a prerequisite for an exact cut. There are two mounting options for the Sigma Kera-Cut tile cutter guide rail, e.g. mounting with suction cups - these are hooked into the lateral rail groove and can be positioned as required. These are suction lifters with a double sealing lip, which guarantee good suction performance even on slightly structured surfaces.

Another fastening option is to fix the rail using the table fastening set. For this purpose, the swivel parts are mounted on the head ends of the rail and fastened to a wooden plate (work table) with screws. To process the tile, the rail is unfolded and the material is pushed under the rail, the guide rail is then returned to its original position and the cut can begin. It is also possible to fasten the swivel parts with screw clamps.

Regardless of which fastening method you choose, the prerequisite for an exact cut is the flat, full-surface support of the tile to be processed.

Once the cutting rail has been fastened and the cutting carriage mounted, the cut can begin. To do this, the force-guided cutting carriage of the 'Tile cutter Sigma' is pressed onto the material and pushed evenly over the tile with both hands.

Different methods are possible for breaking - with breaking pliers or over the edge of the table. The carbide cutting wheel, Art.:12391 can be replaced in a few easy steps if necessary.

Other useful accessories for large format laying of the Sigma tile cutter are our:

Ideal breaking pliers, Art. 10889
Lifting and laying frame, Art. 12215
