Scope of delivery of the joint cleaner set:
- 1 joint cleaner handle for inserting the bars
- 2 joint brushes
- 1 silicone and corner brush
- 2 diamond bars with 2 mm joint width each
- 2 diamond bars, each with 3 mm joint width
- 2 diamond bars, each with 5.5 mm joint width
- 2 hand sanding bars for hard to reach areas (with ribbed handle)
- 1 joint protection pin
- 1 transport case with insert and instruction of use
Cleaning joints in a few simple steps - How to use the joint cleaner set
- take the handle and choose the right diamond bar for your joints The width of the diamond bar should correspond to the width of the joint. If the diamond bar is wider the tiles can be damaged. If the diamond bar is too narrow, the result will not be as good as you would like. Included diamond bars are made for joint widths 2, 3 and 5.5mm
- to clean the joint, insert the diamond bar into the handle and place the bar in the joint . Apply only light pressure by moving the diamond bar with back and forth movements in the joint. This will remove the dirt from the joint. Treat the joints only once with the diamond bars
Tip: for hard-to-reach areas (e.g. behind taps or handles) use one of the two hand sanding bars with a ribbed handle; thanks to their compact shape, they can reach even the smallest corners.
- after treatment with the diamond bars you should clean the joints. For this purpose we recommend our intensive cleaner Art. 11168 and the joint brush included in the set.
Push the joint brush into the handle. The dirt can now be easily removed from the joint - the silicone and corner brush is ideal for cleaning sensitive silicone joints. Due to its longer, soft bristles, it is gentle on the material and yet reliably removes dirt. First apply the cleaning agent to the silicone joints and work on them with the silicone brush
- after cleaning you should treat the clean joints with the enclosed joint protection pencil, so that your joints remain clean and beautiful for a long time
