The individually combinable installation frame for your XXL tiles - this is how you will master those demanding jobs with large format tiles.
The new installation frame from KARL DAHM offers several advantages that make the installation of large-format tiles much easier:
- Two different models of suction lifters can be attached to the installation frame: choose between our pump suction lifters or the new battery vacuum suction lifters for structured surfaces (a combination of both models is also possible).
- The new Flexi scissors system allows the installation frame to be infinitely adjusted to tile widths from 70 to 160 cm.
- The length of the installation frame can be extended from 2.40 m to 3.20 m thanks to handle extensions.
- Total carrying weight: 140 kg
- Maximum tile format: 3.20 x 1.60 m
Create your own individual installation frame
The installation frame art. 12290 consists of a basic frame, for which you can select and order the suction lifters you require. Our pump suction lifters art. 12293 are equipped with a fourfold grooved suction plate that sucks on almost any material. Thanks to the robust metal housing, distortion or slippage is impossible.
For very structured and demanding surfaces we recommend the use of the battery-powered vacuum suction lifter with manometer art. 40798. Due to its reliable suction power it is perfectly suitable for natural stones and slabs with flamed and uneven surfaces. You will receive the battery vacuum suction lifter with pre-assembled angles, so that these can be mounted quickly and easily on the installation frame.
Our recommendation for the Big Size installation frame:
We recommend 6 pump suction lifters or 6 battery vacuum suction lifters per frame. You can also easily combine the suction lifts on one installation frame (e.g. 4 pump suction lifts and 2 battery suction lifts). If pump and battery suction lifter are mounted together on a frame, you only need extended angles for the pump suction lifter, these are available separately from us (Art. 12244).

The innovation for different tile widths: the Flexi scissors-type system
Thanks to the new Flexi scissor system, the installation frame can be infinitely adjusted to tile widths between 70 and 160 cm. A clamping lever on both sides of the frame is used to fix the desired tile width. The handle extensions on the installation frame serve to extend the tile format from 2.40 m to 3.20 m in length. If, however, smaller formats are to be laid, the installation frame can be divided at a length of 1.60 m.
With the Big Size frame you can carry a total weight of 140 kg. Thanks to the stable but light aluminium construction, the installation frame has a very low dead weight of only 15.44 kg (without suction handle).
With 6 mounted pump lifters the frame weighs only 23.8 kg, with 6 mounted vacuum suction lifters the total weight is 26 kg.
