Cancellation policy

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party appointed by you who is not the carrier, have or has taken possession of the goods. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Karl Dahm & Partner GmbH, Ludwigstr. 5, 83358 Seebruck, Germany, info@dahm-werkzeuge.de, telephone: 08667 8780) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory. You can also exercise your right of cancellation online at https://www.karldahm.com/Bestellung-widerrufen. If you use this online function, we will promptly send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) containing information on the content of the cancellation declaration as well as the date and time of its receipt. You may also complete and submit the model cancellation form or another clear statement electronically on our website info@dahm-werkzeuge.de. If you make use of this option, we will promptly send you confirmation of receipt of such cancellation (e.g. by e-mail). To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification concerning the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. For goods which, due to their nature, cannot normally be returned by post, these costs amount to EUR 30.00. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functioning.
