A mitre cut is an angled cut edge or surface that is created by cutting or grinding material at a specific angle. Mitre cuts are typically used to cut two workpieces so that they can meet to form a corner or angle, for example when making frame corners and furniture. The most common angles for mitre cuts are 45 degrees for right angles or other angles depending on site conditions.
Our Profil-Star Dahm® in set with stop, Art. No. 40247 is the most user-friendly tool among the profile cutters. With a cutting speed of up to 100 metres per minute, it is an extremely powerful tool, ideal for precise cutting of stainless steel, metal and plastic profiles, even in mitre cuts, without leaving any discolouration.
Our tip: Use stainless steel profiles as a finish for customised plinths to improve your appearance and increase your sales and profits.
With the special stop for 45° cuts, you can cut profiles for internal and external corners horizontally, vertically and diagonally precisely and cleanly without the profile rails springing or jamming.

This bending machine allows you to bend metal profiles to any radius, making it easier to create curves and roundings. The machine is suitable for various metal profiles such as brass, V2A and steel, which can be used for curves. It enables fast and optimised bending by setting the radius on the black adjustment wheel and turning the large drive wheel after the rails with special punching have been inserted into the machine.
