The SIMPLEX paving hammer is an indispensable companion for a wide range of applications, equipped with a rubber composition and superplastic insert. The medium-hard rubber insert is very low-wear, cushioning and odorless and lasts many times longer than a conventional rubber mallet. The super plastic insert allows for higher impact force than the rubber insert and is made of extruded, extremely homogeneous material that is much more wear resistant and durable than injection molded plastic inserts.
The body of the hammer is made of malleable cast iron and has an integrated handle protection sleeve that ensures high break resistance. The high-quality, vibration-damping wooden handle is ergonomically shaped and double-painted in the grip area, making it insensitive to dirt. In line with the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are replaceable and retrofittable, which not only saves money but also resources.
The SIMPLEX soft-face hammer is available in Ø 50 mm and is suitable for a wide range of applications, including gardening and landscaping, paving work, setting curbs, scaffolding, tent construction, carpentry, fence construction and setting roof trusses.
The product features a rubber composition impact insert in black, which is medium-hard, cushioning, odorless and wear-resistant, and a super plastic impact insert in white, which is medium-hard, highly durable and wear-resistant.
