Prepare the Subfloor:
Prepare the subfloor as usual. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and level.
Apply Tile Adhesive:
Spread the tile adhesive evenly on the subfloor and place the first tile.
Insert Threaded Spacers:
Insert the threaded spacers approximately 5 cm from the edges of the tile. For large-format tiles, it is recommended to place the spacers every 15-20 cm.
Install the Second Tile:
Place the second tile and ensure that the spacers are securely fixed beneath it. This ensures even leveling of the tile.
Screw on the Clamping Caps:
Screw the clamping caps onto the threaded spacers until resistance is felt. This will perfectly level the tiles and ensure a uniform surface.
Allow to Cure:
Let the tile adhesive fully cure before proceeding further.
Remove the Clamping Caps:
Remove the clamping caps and break the threaded spacers at their break points. The spacer base remains invisible under the tiles.
