Agitators as a practical aid

Stirrers are tools of a mixing device or mixer and are usually interchangeable.

Agitators are a practical and necessary tool for mixing levelling compound or similar materials in a mixing bucket. You can use agitators to mix concrete, adhesive, mortar, paint and other materials.

The agitators and stirrers have different properties / features:

  • Length
  • Shape
  • Thread or mounting
  • Stirring direction
  • Speed
  • Diameter
  • For different materials

Mixing with one of our mixers leads to an even and perfect result

Plasters or adhesives are often supplied in ready-made containers. As the individual components have different weights, small stones settle in the lower part of the bucket or hobbock during transport and storage. As a result, the upper third of the plaster is very liquid and the lower part consists almost entirely of small stones. If this plaster is not stirred with an agitator, the end result on the wall will be uneven and unsatisfactory. With the help of one of our mixers, you can mix the plaster into a uniform mass and then apply it to the wall professionally. Now you get an exemplary result and your customers are satisfied.

Agitators - Quality requirements

When buying a mixer, you should pay attention to the quality. When choosing a mixer, rely on the experience of many craftsmen and professionals who have been working with these products for many years. Reliability is an increasingly important argument when making a purchase decision, especially in the trades and on construction sites. Machine failures caused by poor quality can result in very high costs. The mixer breaks down, has to be brought in for repair and then picked up again. It can take several days before the mixer is operational again. This not only costs a lot of money, but also valuable working time!

At Karl Dahm you will also find other products that you need for mixing with a mixer:

Masking fleece for renovations:

Masking fleece (renovation fleece) is usually used to cover furniture or the floor when painting, wallpapering or mixing levelling compound, for example. The fleece can be easily attached with masking tape/adhesive tape. This protects the furniture and floor from paint stains, mortar, tile adhesive and the like. If the masking film is not too dirty or sticks together due to the paint or adhesive, the fleece can also be reused.

Practical mortar tubs and mixing buckets for different applications:

Mortar tubs and mixing buckets are available in different shapes, sizes and colours. Most buckets are made of plastic. Some buckets are also equipped with a handle for carrying or transporting. Plastic buckets are recyclable and are therefore particularly environmentally friendly. You can use stirrers to mix adhesive, levelling compound, mortar and other materials in the mortar bucket or mixing bucket. You can also use the buckets to transport sand, gravel, grit, screws, water or tools. Buckets can also be used for storage.
