Platinum Premium liquid, 1kg transparent, Art. no. 12147
The Platinum P+ 1kg, is a liquid adhesive from Karl Dahm based on epoxy acrylic. Due to its particularly high adhesive strength, Platinum P+ is perfect for bonding and cementing natural and artificial stone (such as marble, quartz composite, terrazzo, granite, etc.).
The adhesive is also suitable for reinforcing stone slabs with fiberglass products (lamination) and for making stone substitutes with rock flour and sand. Once the product is fully cured, it is safe for health in case of contact with food. Suitable for indoor use only"
When storing the Platinum P+ we recommend that you store the product in a dry, cool and unopened place, the ideal temperature for storage is 5°C to 25°C.
You can use the Platinum P+:
- In kitchens
- For bathrooms and sanitary facilities
- On floors and stairs
- On window sills and tables
- In the food sector (confirmed by an external German testing institute)
The use of Platinum P+:
1. before you can use the adhesive, you must prepare the substrate accordingly. It must be clean, completely dry and roughened. 2.
2. you can color the Platinum P+ by adding suitable Karl Dahm color pastes or color concentrates. To a quantity of 100 g of our assembly adhesive, add 1- 3 g of the white hardening paste (1 g corresponds to approx. 4-5 cm from the screw tube).
3. next, both components are completely mixed together. Once this step is done, the mixture remains workable for between 5-15 minutes (20°C) depending on the product and hardener added.
4. after 15-40 minutes, the treated parts can be further processed by you (sanding, drilling, milling, etc.).
5. heat accelerates the curing time, while cold delays it.
