Platinum Premium L-Special 1kg, transparent, Art. no. 12149
The Platinum P+ L-Spezial from Karl Dahm in the 1kg package is a gel-like, transparent-opaque adhesive based on epoxy acrylic. The application area of the Platinum P+ L-Special is diverse, among other things it is suitable for modeling corners and edges. In addition, due to its high adhesive strength, the adhesive is perfect for work such as bonding and cementing natural and artificial stone (such as marble, quartz composite, terrazzo, granite, etc.) and is also suitable for vertical applications. Suitable for indoor use only"
The adhesive is also suitable for reinforcing stone slabs with fiberglass products (lamination) and for making stone substitutes with rock flour and sand. Once the product is fully cured, it is safe for health in case of contact with food.
We recommend storing Platinum P+ L-Special in a dry, cool and unopened place; the ideal temperature for storage is 5°C to 25°C.
The adhesive is ideal for the following applications:
- For bathrooms and plumbing
- On window sills and tables
- On floors and stairs
- In kitchens
- In the food sector (confirmed by an external German testing institute)
The application of the Platinum P+ L-Special in five steps:
1. Before you can use Platinum P+ L-Special, you must prepare the substrate accordingly. It must be clean, completely dry and roughened. 2.
2. you can color the Platinum P+ by adding suitable Karl Dahm color concentrates or color pastes. To a quantity of 100 g of our assembly adhesive, add 1- 3 g of the white hardening paste (1 g corresponds to approx. 4-5 cm from the screw tube).
3. at the next step both components are completely mixed together. After that, the mixture remains workable for between 5-15 minutes (20°C), depending on the product and the hardener added.
4. after a period of 15-40 minutes the treated parts can be further processed by you (grinding, drilling, milling etc.)
5. heat accelerates the curing time, while cold delays it.
