The Platinum P+ L-Special in the 170g package is a gel-like, transparent-opaque adhesive from Karl Dahm, which is based on epoxy acrylic. Due to a particularly high adhesive strength, the Platinum P+ is perfect for work such as bonding and cementing natural and artificial stone (such as marble, quartz composite, terrazzo, granite, etc.) and also in vertical areas. In addition, the adhesive is suitable for modeling corners and edges.Suitable for indoor use only"
When storing Platinum P+, we recommend that you keep the product dry, cool and unopened; the ideal temperature for storage is 5°C to 25°C.
Likewise, the Platinum P+ L-Special is suitable for reinforcing stone slabs with fiberglass products (lamination) and for the production of stone substitutes with rock flour and sand. Once the product is fully cured, it is safe for health in case of contact with food.
Areas of application of Platinum P+ L-Special:
- In kitchens
- For bathrooms and sanitary facilities
- On floors and stairs
- On window sills and tables
- In the food sector (confirmed by an external German test institute)
The application of Platinum P+ L-Special step by step:
1. Before you can use the adhesive, you must prepare the substrate accordingly. It must be clean, completely dry and roughened. 2.
2. you can color the Platinum P+ by adding suitable Karl Dahm color concentrates or color pastes. To a quantity of 100 g of our assembly adhesive, add 1- 3 g of the white hardening paste (1 g corresponds to approx. 4-5 cm from the screw tube).
3. next, both components are completely mixed together. After that, the mixture remains workable for between 5-15 minutes (20°C), depending on the product and the hardener added.
4. after a time of 15-40 minutes, the treated parts can be further processed by you (grinding, drilling, milling etc.)
5. heat accelerates the curing time, while cold delays it.
