Platinum P+ is a liquid epoxy acrylate-based adhesive from KARL DAHM. Due to its particularly high adhesive strength, Platinum P+ is suitable for bonding and cementing natural and artificial stone (such as marble, quartz composite, terrazzo, granite, etc.). Suitable for indoor use only"
You can also use the adhesive for reinforcing stone slabs with fiberglass products (lamination) and for making stone substitutes with rock flour and sand. Once cured, the product is safe for health when in contact with food.
Storage of Platinum P+ should be dry, cool and unopened, the ideal temperature for storage is 5°C to 25°C.
The assembly adhesive is suitable for indoor use:
- In kitchens
- Bathroom and sanitary
- On floors and stairs
- On tables and window sills
- In the food sector (confirmed by external German test institute)
How to use Platinum P+ adhesive:
- Prepare the substrate accordingly. It must be clean, completely dry and roughened.
- You can color the adhesive by adding suitable color pastes or color concentrates. To a quantity of 100 g of the Platinum P+ assembly adhesive, add 1 - 3 g of white hardening paste (1 g corresponds to approx. 4 - 5 cm from the screw tube).
- Both components are now completely mixed together. Once this step has been completed, the mixture remains workable for between 5-15 minutes (20°C), depending on the product and the amount of hardener added.
- After a time of 15-40 minutes, the treated parts can be further processed (grinding, drilling, milling, etc.).
- Heat accelerates the curing time, while cold delays it.
