The Release Agent, art.-no. 16803, is specially developed for professionals in tiling, stone, and construction trades who demand the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and durability. This release agent ensures a clean, residue-free separation between mold and casting material, significantly facilitating daily work. It is an indispensable helper, especially when working with natural stone, granite, marble, limestone, and ceramics.
It reduces cleaning effort and protects your molds and tools from premature wear – ideal for demanding daily use.
The release agent is preferred by tilers and stone processors for natural stone, granite, marble, limestone, and ceramics. It reliably prevents adhesion and allows quick, uncomplicated demolding, which saves time and material costs, especially in series production.
Residues on molds, tools, and finished workpieces often cause delays and extra effort. The Release Agent from Karl Dahm forms a thin, transparent protective film that effectively prevents adhesion – without greasy films or disturbing residues. It dries quickly, enabling a smooth workflow that noticeably saves time in practice.
Before application, clean the mold thoroughly and allow it to dry completely. Apply the release agent thinly and evenly using a brush, cloth, or spray device. Be sure to let it dry completely before casting to ensure the best release effect. For lasting protection with frequent use, repeat the treatment after several casting cycles.
Clean tools and brushes with mild detergent after use. Store the product frost-free and dry.
The Release Agent stands out due to its low-VOC and solvent-free formula, which optimizes occupational health and safety. Unlike oil- or wax-based release agents, it leaves no greasy films or residues on surfaces or tools and dries significantly faster. This makes your work in tiling and stone craftsmanship more precise, cleaner, and more economical.
The release agent is fully compatible with all common tools and molds in tiling and stone processing. Ideal in combination with other Karl Dahm products like Akemi Akelux stone sealers. We also offer matching spray devices and cleaners in our online shop to facilitate application.
This product complies with relevant DIN standards for release agents and mold protection and convinces with tested Karl Dahm quality. The health-safe formulation guarantees safety during use – a crucial factor for professional applications.

It is ideal for natural stone, granite, marble, limestone, and ceramics. It reliably prevents adhesion and facilitates demolding.
How is the release agent correctly applied?
Shake the release agent well before use and apply thinly with a cloth to a suitable and clean surface. Allow the product to dry completely. Then polish the treated surface with a clean cloth to achieve an even finish. Next, either apply AKELUX Filler Transparent liquid to the pretreated surface and cure with LED-Powerlight or alternatively create a surface texture stamp using AKEMI® Platinum P+ liquid. For this, apply Platinum P+ mixed with hardener to the surface pretreated with AKEMI® Release Agent and allow to cure. Carefully detach the hardened stamp from the surface using a spatula or thin blade. Before each repair, treat the textured side of the stamp again with AKEMI® Release Agent as described above. Finally, remove any residue of the release agent from the stone surface using AKELUX Cleaner.
