With tileable WC flush plates with side actuation, the tile cut-out must fit precisely. Even small deviations can mean that the flush plate cannot be mounted cleanly and flush, or that the joint pattern appears uneven. With our adhesive template for Royal Flush Side Button, we make precise positioning, marking and preparation of the cut-out easier for you – suitable for the Royal Flush Universal - Side Button as well as the Blue Base variants.
Our Side Button systems are constructed differently from classic Royal Flush flush plates. The actuation is on the side, which means the position of the cut-out must be matched especially precisely to the respective system. The self-adhesive cutting template helps you transfer the contour safely onto the tile.
With the adhesive template, you work faster and more safely on the job site. Instead of transferring measurements by hand several times, you place the template directly on the cleaned tile surface and receive clear guidance for the cut-out.
This reduces waste, saves rework and supports precise flush-mounted installation. Especially with tileable flush plates, a clean cut edge is essential so that the actuator plate blends discreetly into the tile pattern.
Clean the tile surface thoroughly before applying the template. The surface should be dry, free of dust and grease so that the template adheres securely and does not move during marking.
Align the cut-out template without tension at the desired installation point. Before pressing it down, check the position in relation to the flush plate, the joint pattern and the concealed cistern.
Carry out the cut-out with suitable diamond tools. Work with a steady feed and avoid tilting the tool sideways. After cutting, the edges should be cleanly deburred and sanded.
This template is specially designed for our Royal Flush Side Button variants (item no. 16922 and 16929). Depending on the tile material, we recommend suitable diamond cutting discs, diamond milling cutters, mini cutting discs and abrasives for edge finishing.
It fits the Royal Flush Universal - Side Button, item no. 16922, and the Royal Flush Blue Base - Side Button for Geberit Sigma, item no. 16929. Before cutting, always check whether the flush plate model used matches the template.
This means its construction differs from classic Royal Flush flush plates with front actuation. The template is therefore designed specifically for this special construction.
However, the right diamond tool is decisive for a clean cut-out. When working with hard materials, use steady guidance, low pressure and as little vibration as possible.
Dust, grease or adhesive residues can impair the adhesion of the adhesive template. A dry and clean tile ensures that the template remains reliably in position during marking.
Diamond milling pins are particularly practical for small radii or reworking the contour. The tool should always match the tile thickness and material hardness.
Effective dust extraction and appropriate protective equipment are important. For sensitive surfaces, wet processing can help reduce heat build-up and edge chipping.
Mineral dust is produced especially during dry processing and should not be inhaled. Small splinters can also cause injuries when deburring.
A steady feed protects the glaze and reduces vibration. After cutting, the edges should be carefully reworked with a suitable abrasive.
As soon as the template is dirty, warped or damaged, dimensional accuracy can suffer. For a clean result, we recommend using only a flawless template.
Inaccurate positioning can make installation more difficult or impair the operating function. The template helps you prepare the cut-out safely and accurately.
