Self-adhesive skirting tape, free sample to test!
The skirting tape is a tape to be attached to the wall, which can bridge vertical movements of the floor covering.
Movements of up to 15 mm are compensated. This relieves the movement joint between floor and skirting tiles.
All advantages at a glance:
- Skirting is decoupled from the subfloor
- No cracking in the movement joint
- Prevents three-sided adhesion
- Protects the wall from soiling when skirting tiles are applied
- Large time interval between maintenance
The installation of the skirting tape:
When constructing with floating screeds, there is a lowering of the floor construction due to the building material. In this way, the movement joint between the floor and the wall is overloaded and cracks appear between the floor and the wall. The skirting tape is applied with the self-adhesive side facing the wall. After application of the base, e.g. by tile adhesive, the remaining protruding tape is cut off at the top.
