Diamond cutting disc for 3 cm thick slabs – DNS 13 TERR Ultra Ø 300 mm for wet cutting

The diamond cutting disc for 3 cm thick slabs DNS 13 TERR Ultra is a specially developed high-performance disc for extremely hard materials and thick ceramic slabs in outdoor areas. It was designed for processing fired ceramics such as ceramic terrace slabs as well as particularly hard porcelain stoneware. Thanks to the special bond, this diamond cutting disc for wet cutting achieves an exceptionally high cutting speed while maintaining high cutting precision.

The 1.6 mm thin segment design ensures especially smooth, clean and chip-free cuts. At the same time, this slim segment thickness increases the service life of the disc. The high diamond concentration in the segment enables consistently strong performance even with very dense and hard materials. The cutting pattern is fine, edges remain clean and dust generation is low.

The cutting disc is designed for wet cutting with masonry saws and cutting tables and is particularly suitable for thick outdoor ceramics. Due to the hardness of the material, it must only be used on cutting tables, otherwise heat development may strain the steel core and the cut may stall.

Recommended application

A step cut of 10 mm per pass is recommended.
During the first pass, the material is only scored approx. 10 mm deep, in the next pass another 10 mm, etc. This technique ensures:

• clean and neat cutting edges
• reduced material stress
• longer disc service life
• higher cutting precision

The discs are equipped with slots between the segments to increase cutting speed. Additional vibration slots provide noise reduction during cutting.

Care & service life of the diamond cutting disc for 3 cm thick slabs

For permanently optimal cutting performance, the disc should be sharpened regularly, e.g. with the Karl Dahm sharpening stone (art.-no. 20050) made of silicon carbide.

Important: Only use the sharpening stone dry! Tools should only be inserted into the material up to segment height.
