The Karl Dahm diamond wire saw set Art. 13203 combines everything for hand-guided curved and cut-out work: the diamond saw wire (Art. 40994, 1 m, 0.5 mm) and the matching handles (Art. 13204). Together they form a hand-guided diamond wire saw for curved cuts in tiles and porcelain stoneware.
The wire is clamped into the handles and guided safely by hand – for tight radii, curves and internal cut-outs that straight cutting discs cannot achieve. It is ideally suited to cutting out the rounded contours of tileable flush plates.
Diamond cutting wires are generally used with water cooling to reduce heat and dust and to extend service life.
This set (Art. 13203) contains the wire and handles as the basic equipment for hand cutting. If you also need a template for defined radii (3, 6 and 12 mm) plus fixing clips, wedges and a cooling sponge, the Distar CordSET (Art. 40997) provides them.
The diamond saw wire (Art. 40994) is a consumable and can be reordered separately; the handles (Art. 13204) are reusable and also available individually.
Together they form a hand-guided diamond wire saw for curved cuts and cut-outs in tiles and porcelain stoneware.
A typical use is cutting out the rounded contours of tileable flush plates.
For simple hand cuts the set 13203 is sufficient; for defined radii with a template the CordSET is the more complete solution.
Replacement wire (Art. 40994) and handles (Art. 13204) are available separately.
