Base tabs long LEVELMAC 2 mm, 1500 pieces

The KARL DAHM tile leveling system allows for easy and efficient tile installation and with the long 2 mm base tabs, you can lay tiles without overtoothing and perfectly.

The advantages of the base tabs are manifold:

• The leveling lugs were specially developed for a joint width of 2 mm. This uniform joint width creates a harmonious connection between the tiles or slabs.
  The tabs are characterized by their particular robustness. For this reason, they are ideal for outdoor installation. They are perfect for terraces, balconies, garden paths and other outdoor areas.
• The base tabs are compatible with all Levelmac traction hoods of the tile leveling system. The Levelmac pull hoods provide a reliable fixation of the leveling tabs to keep the tiles in the desired position and to achieve a uniform height. This enables a professional and precise installation.

The application is extremely simple:

1. Make sure the substrate is thoroughly prepared and has no unevenness.
2. Now apply the tile adhesive evenly to the substrate. It is recommended to use the buttering-floating method, in which both the substrate and a thin layer is applied to the back of the tile. This minimizes the risk of void formation.
3. Place the first tile in the adhesive and place two to three base tabs under the tile, depending on the side length of the tile. Then place the next tile against the first tile to secure the base tabs between the tiles. Then rotate the pull hoods onto the base tabs to level the tiles to the same level.
4. Allow the tile adhesive to cure completely. The pull hoods can then be twisted off the base tabs. Break off the base tabs along the predetermined breaking point in the direction of the joint. The base plates of the leveling tabs are not visible under the tiles and can be grouted as usual. The tension hoods of the tile leveling system can be reused.
