The KARL DAHM tile leveling system allows for easy installation and with the long base tabs 2 mm you can lay tiles without overtoothing and perfectly.

Advantages of the 2 mm base tabs:

• The leveling lugs have been specially developed for a joint width of 2 mm. Due to the even and precise joint width, the tiles or slabs are harmoniously joined together.
• The basic lugs are particularly robust. For this reason, they are suitable for outdoor installation. This makes them ideal for laying tiles or slabs on terraces, balconies, garden paths and other outdoor areas.
• The base tabs are compatible with all Levelmac pull hoods in the Tile Leveling System. The Levelmac pulling hoods provide a reliable fixation of the base tabs to keep the tiles in the desired position and to achieve a uniform height.

The application is very simple:

1. Before installation, the substrate should be thoroughly prepared and have no unevenness.
2. The adhesive is now applied evenly to the substrate, and the buttering-floating method is recommended, in which both the substrate and a thin layer is applied to the back of the tile. This minimizes the risk of void formation.
3. The first tile is then placed in the adhesive and, depending on the side length of the tile, two to three tabs are placed under the tile. The next tile is placed against the first tile, fixing the base tabs between the tiles. The pull hoods are then rotated onto the base tabs to level the tiles to the same level.
4. After the tile adhesive has fully cured, the pull hoods can be twisted off the base tabs. The tabs are broken off along the predetermined breaking point in the direction of the joint. The base plates of the leveling tabs are not visible under the tiles and can be grouted as usual. The tension hoods of the tile leveling system can be reused.

With the basic lugs with long thread for 2 mm joint width, you have the ideal tool at hand for laying tiles outdoors. Benefit from their performance and make the laying of large formats easier!
