Application and Practical Processing Instructions:

Remove loose dirt before application. Apply HMK R181 Grout Cleaner diluted or undiluted to the cementitious grout joints depending on the level of contamination and let it act for a short time. Do not allow the cleaning solution to dry out completely. Afterwards, scrub the joints with a grout brush, hand brush, or pad and thoroughly rinse or wipe away the dissolved residues with clean water. For heavy contamination, a second application may be required.

Always prepare a test area in an inconspicuous place before large-scale cleaning. This applies especially to natural stone, terracotta, coloured grout, coated surfaces, and unknown materials. Alkaline-sensitive natural stones like marble or limestone must not be treated. Wear suitable protective gloves and safety goggles during application. The cleaner is not suitable for alkaline-sensitive stones such as marble or limestone. Grout brushes, scrubbers, pads, and cleaning cloths are suitable for manual application.
