MATRIXTEC diamond dry core bit Ø 25 mm, Art. 50810

The use of the new MATRIXTEC drill bits enables fast and precise drilling in even the hardest materials in a simple way. The innovative diamond coating ensures excellent cooling during drilling and an extended service life of the diamond drill bits. The diamonds are arranged in a controlled manner in the matrix and have a wear-resistant coating that makes the drill bits longer lasting and more cutting than conventional diamond drill bits. Because of the long service life and consistently fast cutting performance, this technology is extremely efficient.

How to use the diamond dry core bits:

The diamond dry core bit has an M14 mount, which means it fits on any standard angle grinder with an M14 thread. To use the MATRIXTEC diamond core bits properly, you must mount the core bit on the angle grinder (M14 mount), start the angle grinder and guide the core bit to the material at the desired location with wobbling (pivoting) movements and insert it into the material. When doing so, make sure not to place the drill bit flat on the material to ensure sufficient cooling of the diamonds during drilling and to avoid damage to the drill bit.

All advantages and features at a glance:

The new matrix coating ensures better cooling of the diamonds and consistent running of the drill bit, keeping the drill bit ready for use longer and saving costs on every drill. MATRIXTEC diamond core bits are available in many popular diameters and are suitable for tile, porcelain stoneware and natural stone. In summary, these core bits offer easy assembly, consistent high cutting performance and service life, best cooling and homogeneous synchronization during drilling.

FAQ – Diamond Dry Core Bit 120 mm

Which materials is the core bit suitable for?

It is suitable for hard materials such as tiles, porcelain stoneware, and natural stone, delivering clean drilling results.

The Diamond Dry Core Bit 120 mm has been specifically developed for hard and dense materials. These include wall and floor tiles, porcelain stoneware, and various types of natural stone. Thanks to its high-quality diamond coating, it ensures precise and clean drill holes even in particularly resistant surfaces.

Is water required for cooling?

No, the core bit is designed for dry drilling and does not require additional water cooling.

Thanks to the innovative MATRIXTEC coating and optimized diamond arrangement, the core bit operates efficiently without water cooling. Gentle sweeping movements during drilling provide sufficient air cooling, which extends service life and maintains consistent cutting performance.

Which tools is the core bit compatible with?

It fits almost all standard angle grinders with an M14 thread and can be installed quickly.

The Diamond Dry Core Bit 120 mm features a standardized M14 connection. Therefore, it is compatible with nearly all common angle grinders. Installation is quick and straightforward, allowing you to start drilling immediately.

How do I position the core bit correctly?

Position the core bit at a slight angle and use steady sweeping movements while drilling.

Always begin drilling at a slight angle to ensure controlled positioning. Then guide the core bit through the material using consistent sweeping motions. This technique improves cooling, reduces wear, and helps achieve a clean and precise drill hole.

Will the drill hole be exactly 120 mm?

The drill hole may be slightly larger than 120 mm depending on the drilling technique.

Due to the sweeping motion and the cutting width of the core bit, the drilled hole may be slightly larger than the nominal 120 mm diameter. This is technically normal and also supports proper cooling and smooth operation during the drilling process.
