The OTTOSEAL® S 100 silicone in the color variant fog (C230), Art.-No. 13127, is a high-quality, elastic sealant based on acetate, specially developed for demanding sanitary applications. This premium product impresses with excellent adhesion to many substrates and provides reliable protection against moisture and mold. The durable silicone compound is resistant to aging, UV radiation and extreme temperature fluctuations, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Applications and properties

OTTOSEAL® S 100 fog is ideal for the elastic sealing of joints and connections in bathrooms, showers, toilet areas, as well as washbasins and bathtubs. The smooth, creamy consistency enables easy application and a clean, aesthetic joint finish. Thanks to its high elasticity, the material flexibly adapts to movement and prevents cracks and leaks.

The color “black glossy” gives sanitary installations a warm, elegant appearance that blends harmoniously into many color concepts and enhances the aesthetics of the room.

Application notes

Substrates must be clean, dry and free of grease. On smooth or slightly absorbent surfaces, a primer is recommended for better adhesion. The silicone is applied with a cartridge gun and the joint is shaped with a smoothing agent. At temperatures below +10 °C, the cartridge should be brought to room temperature before use.
