Professional Diamond Set in Case – the complete diamond kit for tilers

The Professional Diamond Set in a case brings together eleven high-quality diamond tools into a complete working kit for everyday tiling. Professional Diamond Set means: cutting, grinding, drilling and milling are all covered by a single case. On site you simply reach for the right tool instead of hunting for individual discs and core bits across several boxes. From ultra-thin precision cuts in porcelain stoneware through mitre cuts to holes for taps and sockets, this set covers the typical requirements in tiling, natural stone and sanitary work.

The Professional Diamond Set is aimed at tiling companies, stonemasons, construction firms and ambitious craftsmen who work with hard materials every day. All cutting discs are designed for common angle grinders with a 125 mm or 115 mm mount; the MATRIXTEC core bits and the diamond finger milling bit run directly on the angle grinder via their M14 thread. Only the two carbide drill bits are used in a drill or cordless screwdriver. You therefore keep working with your existing machines and simply extend your tool range with the diamond components that are genuinely needed day to day.

Professional Diamond Set in Case: what the set contains

The Professional Diamond Set in a case contains the following tools:

Professional Diamond Set for precise cuts in porcelain stoneware

The Professional Diamond Set covers the full cutting range with three diamond cutting discs. The Sharkahm Ultimate Ø 125 mm works with a closed diamond rim and a cutting width of just 1.1 mm – the result is particularly narrow, clean cuts without chipping. The 8 mm high diamond rim provides a long service life, while the reinforced core ensures low-vibration running in the flange area.

In addition, the Professional Diamond Set includes the Turbo Pink Power Ø 125 mm, a noticeably faster disc for quick cuts when speed matters more than the last tenth of a millimetre. The Jolly Turtle Ø 125 mm handles the mitre cuts: its thin kerf allows precise angle cut and direct cut work, so external corners can be mitred cleanly. All cutting discs in the set are designed for dry cutting and fit standard angle grinders with a 125 mm mount.

Professional Diamond Set for grinding and reworking the tile edge

The Professional Diamond Set includes the diamond flap wheel disc Ø 115 mm in grit 60, the right tool for edge work after cutting. It is suitable for coarse and fine grinding alike and works quickly and effectively even on hard materials. Particularly with visible jolly edges, the finishing determines the appearance of the completed surface – with the flap wheel disc you break edges in a controlled and even way.

The Professional Diamond Set also comes with the Pink Power grinding and cutting disc Ø 125 mm, which combines cutting and grinding in one tool. For smaller corrections there is no need to change discs: you cut, turn the angle grinder and rework the edge in one operation. This saves noticeable time on site and reduces the number of tools you have to carry.

Professional Diamond Set for drilling tiles, porcelain stoneware and natural stone

The Professional Diamond Set provides the MATRIXTEC diamond core bits in Ø 25 mm (Art. 50810), Ø 35 mm (Art. 50815) and Ø 68 mm (Art. 50825) – exactly the diameters most frequently needed in bathrooms and kitchens. Ø 25 mm and Ø 35 mm cover taps, angle valves and pipe penetrations, while Ø 68 mm is the standard size for sockets and flush-mounted boxes. All three are dry core bits with an M14 mount and therefore fit any common angle grinder with an M14 thread – no water cooling required.

MATRIXTEC technology in the Professional Diamond Set makes the difference: the diamonds are arranged in a controlled matrix and given a wear-resistant coating. This provides better cooling during drilling, smooth running and a considerably longer service life than conventional diamond core bits. Start the bit at a slight angle and guide it into the material with tilting, swivelling movements – do not place it flat, or the diamonds will not be cooled sufficiently.

Professional Diamond Set with finger milling bit for cut-outs and edges

The Professional Diamond Set is completed by the diamond finger milling bit Ø 10/25 mm with M14 mount. This finger cutter combines the advantages of a hole cutter and an edge cutter in one tool: you can enlarge existing holes, correct cut-outs, mill out internal contours and chamfer edges. Thanks to the high-quality diamond coating, material removal is quick and controlled even in porcelain stoneware, ceramics, marble and granite.

The Professional Diamond Set therefore closes the typical gap between core bit and cutting disc. Pipe cut-outs that do not sit exactly, irregular internal contours or later adjustments to tiles that have already been laid can all be solved cleanly with the finger milling bit – without damaging the tile or having to replace it entirely.

Professional Diamond Set in Case: order and transport on site

The Professional Diamond Set is supplied in a sturdy case in which every tool has its fixed place. Discs, core bits and cutters are protected against knocks and dirt and therefore stay ready for use for longer. You can see at a glance which tool is missing – an advantage familiar to anyone who has ever left a core bit behind on site.

The Professional Diamond Set is especially useful in companies with several fitters: the case is handed over as a single unit, is quickly checked for completeness and can be passed from vehicle to vehicle without fuss. As basic equipment for new employees or as an addition to a second vehicle, the set is an economical solution.

Professional Diamond Set: safety notes for working with diamond tools

The Professional Diamond Set contains tools for dry cutting. Take regular cooling breaks while cutting: after around two minutes of cutting time, lift the machine and let it run idle for about ten seconds. During this time the high circumferential speed cools the disc effectively and noticeably extends its service life.

Personal protective equipment is mandatory when working with the Professional Diamond Set: safety goggles against sparks and dust, ear protection against noise, and gloves for a secure grip. When dry cutting, also use dust extraction or respiratory protection, and always guide the angle grinder calmly and with both hands.

Which materials is the Professional Diamond Set in Case suitable for?

The Professional Diamond Set is designed for porcelain stoneware, tiles, ceramics, natural stone, granite and marble.

The Professional Diamond Set in a case was developed for the hard materials processed daily in the tiling and natural stone trades. The cutting discs cut porcelain stoneware, ceramics and natural stone without chipping, the core bits produce clean holes in tiles and granite, and the finger milling bit reliably works edges and cut-outs even in marble. For soft building materials such as screed or aerated concrete, specialised tools are more suitable.

Which machines do the tools in the Professional Diamond Set fit?

The Professional Diamond Set mainly fits standard angle grinders with an M14 thread.

The Professional Diamond Set contains cutting discs with a 125 mm diameter and a flap wheel disc with a 115 mm diameter, which fit all common angle grinders with the corresponding mount. The MATRIXTEC core bits and the diamond finger milling bit are screwed directly onto the angle grinder spindle via the M14 mount. Only the two carbide drill bits in Ø 6 mm and Ø 8 mm are clamped in a drill or cordless screwdriver. No additional adapters are required for normal use.

Why is the Professional Diamond Set worthwhile compared with buying separately?

The Professional Diamond Set bundles eleven coordinated tools in one case and covers all standard tasks.

The Professional Diamond Set takes the selection work off your hands: instead of laboriously assembling individual discs, core bits and cutters, you receive a range that fully covers cutting, grinding, drilling and milling. The diameters included match the sizes most frequently needed in bathroom and kitchen construction. The case also keeps everything in order, protects the tools during transport and makes it immediately visible if something is missing.

Can the Professional Diamond Set be used for wet cutting?

The Professional Diamond Set is designed for dry cutting and should be used without water.

The cutting discs in the Professional Diamond Set are dry cutters and are run without water cooling. Instead, take regular cooling breaks: after around two minutes of cutting time, lift the machine and let it idle for about ten seconds. This short pause is enough to cool the disc effectively and noticeably extends its service life. For continuous wet cutting, choose discs specifically designed for that purpose.

Which core bit diameters does the Professional Diamond Set contain?

The Professional Diamond Set contains MATRIXTEC diamond core bits in Ø 25 mm, Ø 35 mm and Ø 68 mm.

The Professional Diamond Set covers the most common holes in sanitary and electrical work with these three diameters: Ø 25 mm (Art. 50810) and Ø 35 mm (Art. 50815) suit taps, angle valves and pipe penetrations, while Ø 68 mm (Art. 50825) is the standard size for flush-mounted boxes and sockets. All three are dry core bits with an M14 mount for the angle grinder. They are complemented by carbide drill bits in Ø 6 mm and Ø 8 mm for dowel holes and mounting work.

What is the finger milling bit in the Professional Diamond Set used for?

The finger milling bit in the Professional Diamond Set combines a hole cutter and an edge cutter in one tool.

The diamond finger milling bit Ø 10/25 mm from the Professional Diamond Set enlarges existing holes, corrects cut-outs and mills out internal contours. It can equally be used to chamfer and rework edges. It is the right choice whenever a hole does not sit exactly or an irregular recess is required – you adapt the tile instead of replacing it.

What protective equipment is needed with the Professional Diamond Set?

Safety goggles, ear protection, gloves and dust protection are required when working with the Professional Diamond Set.

The Professional Diamond Set works at high speeds and in dry cutting mode, which generates sparks and dust. Safety goggles protect the eyes, ear protection reduces noise exposure and gloves ensure a secure grip. For dry cutting and drilling we additionally recommend dust extraction or respiratory protection. Always guide the angle grinder with both hands and work calmly and attentively.
