The different types of straps
For the KARL DAHM levelling system there are 3 different types of threaded straps, one of which can be used for any type of installation.
The basic straps for the tile levelling system
The basic straps are part of the basic equipment of the tile levelling system. They are equipped with a plain base, which makes it possible to place basic straps in every joint. The basic straps are one of two components belonging to the tile levelling system. They are included in every levelling system set. They are available for joint widths of 1, 2 and 3 mm.
The T-spacers
The T-spacers are used, for example, for laying in half or three-quarter bandages. There are two T-shaped bars on the base plate. The T-spacers are used in addition to the basic straps. The T-spacers are also available for different joint widths in 2, 3 or 4 mm.
The cross-spacers
The only difference between the cross-spacers and the T-spacers is that they have a joint cross integrated in the base plate instead of a T-piece. This makes them ideally suited for cross-bracing. The cross-spacers can be used just like normal joint crosses. They are also used in addition to the basic straps. The cross-spacers are available in joint widths of 2, 3 and 4 mm.
